No Comment: Exchange rates and interest rates
Hi All,
Normally these will, well, have “no comment” at all. But I wanted to take a second to explain this first one. Let’s proceed backwards to make sense.
The long run goal is to have a companion site (or do it through Substack, but I don’t think that will work). The companion site will have reports and such you can read but I don’t want to flood your email with reports that are uninteresting to you.
But I do want you to know what’s happening and what’s been posted. So, we will test out sending a “no comment” report that just includes some pictures and links to the other site.
I will only launch the actual companion site after I see it clearly in my head first, so I’m using my personal website (that I use for students, teaching, research, etc.). It’s not as pretty as the eventual companion site, but it allows me to test this process.
So… today: Below is the first “No Comment” report. I think they will look something like this going forward. And it will grow as we generate more reports. For now there is one link to the “companion site” (www.chrisball.com) where you can find the slightly longer report. They are still the “short reports” but some have additional comments and, where appropriate, there are also links to relevant articles for those wanting further reading. Those are not my articles.
My hope is that this helps you keep abreast of the current information that I’m also following, doesn’t flood your email, but allows you to read more on topics that sparked your interest.
Enjoy and send feedback!
Chris
PS. I can already see we’ll need to make formatting more uniform across the graphs and reports :-) More comments, thoughts, and feedback please!
